What is AIS?
The system AIS Automatic Identification System or automatic identification system, is a system of automatic exchange of data (position of the boat, MMSI, length, width, heading, speed, type of surrounding boats of AIS transmitters), through the marine radio VHF band.

The AIS RX-110 receiver allows lareceptiohn of information from issuers ships of AIS data located in the area covered by the VHF band.
